The Chain Mailer.

That was me long ago.

A felon to the Law.

A Falcon to the few.

Falling prey to my way.

With feathers.

~

The Letter Opener.

That was me once.

Ferocious in a feather fight.

Futile at doing right.

Serving time with pleasure.

Leisure locked cells.

With feathers.

~

The Feathered Edge.

That’s me now.

After my parole.

Released back onto streets.

Homeless hungry pen-i-less again.

With feathers.

      1. Hey PSJ,

Raven’s 12 trust your decision is because you are moving onwards and upwards to new pastures with exciting projects. Whilst disappointed, we accept your choice hoping you will not depart WordPress altogether…it would be a loss to the WP community. However, good luck in all ways with the newly ventured….perhaps in time you will reveal more of your covert work or share further.

Enjoy the remainder of your week chiselling away at the worded marble like the artful master mason you are else hang awhile in our field and swop stories. Perhaps do both whilst the fair weather holds?

  1. A wonderful expressive honest heartfelt poem Mawkin.. ❤

But each feather that is now gathers does not an Angel shed
To share your sorrow and to heal thy head
For tomorrow never comes, and the past it is gone
The 'Present' is in the feathers, and Love that is shone.

Beautiful poetry Mawkin.. All I can share is the food from heart..

    Blessings Sue ❤

  2. Hey Sue,

Welcome once again to our friendly field….we’ve left the framework standing anticipating your visit and hoping you’d wander by and stop a while.

On behalf of Mawkin, who we know will revel in your kindness, thank you. The poem they’ll certainly treasure and keep close…no doubt write out their own copy in the notebook they carry – perhaps add another new feather they find to mark the page. It is their little book of feathers. Beautiful words Sue, ever considerate and understanding, thank you.

Your recent new feather sweetly drums your heart, thank you for sharing her nourishing Love.

We are enjoying a warming day with clearing skies and emerging smiles on the faces of passers-by.

    Namaste ❤

    1. Hey Sue,

How are you on this fine bright day? You sound a tad troubled, toyed with perhaps, even stirred a little by small WP glitches sent to irritate but not challenge too deeply we hope. WP seem pretty good at fixing problems once reported.

Mawkin’s words are his pleasure…a kindness reciprocated, traded, exchanged, shared. Thank you also for sun-shine, Love and blessings to ripen, sweeten and enrich our week. Crowds came and went yesterday gathering nearby to watch street entertainer’s. They are enthralled by the show, standing sharing comments smiles and laughter and idly tapping feet and fingers to rhythms. We’ve seen the show before and hundreds that are like it as well, yet our curiosity never loses its appeal nor our enjoyment lessen or wane. We sit happily transfixed by both crowds and melodies. A memory amongst our number recalls a favourite entertainer once met in London several years ago. They suggest for you, a Drummer, the following may tempt you into buying a new toy. The chuckle at the end of the video is infectious.

We hope you call again shortly. Until then walk freely Sue Dreamwalker, take good care of one and all. Thank you for kindness.

      Namaste 🙂

    1. Hey Sue,

Excellent! We you knew you would enjoy both chuckle and Hang Drum 🙂 Indeed we also want one…and yes, it is on our must have list for sometime in the future.

The sound is ethereal, otherworldly, even off-worldly don’t you think? Elegant, light, pulsating, every beat a resonance bleeding from the previous note blending seamlessly into the next – it is exquisite, addictive listening, and fascinating to watch him play. One imagines if the instrument were owned the impulse to enjoy it would be irresistible…possibly to the exclusion of all else. We think its probably quite wise that you are prevailing with the guitar else your focus might wander. Still, there is always chance one may come your way…once seen they are never forgotten on the wish list!

Rather amusingly, the Hang Drum he plays comes in a carry-case, a backpack that moulds to the drum’s shape. With a few additional adjustments, a dark night and shadow, one might appear a Mutant Ninja Turtle….a hero in a half shell. “Cowabunga indeed.’

Thank you for intention to ‘pingback’…your support is warmly appreciated. Oh, and happy to hear you’ve had a dose of mesmerising today despite the ghosts in the shell. Keep smiling.

Take care always for always and in all ways for always.

      Namaste 🙂

      2. Hey Sue,

When all else fails, chuckle….giggling cures all. Scientifically proven by laughter experts.

We never grew out of Ninja Turtles. We’ve met plenty of crazy turtles, crazy snails as well over the past 30 years. Wonderful characters, truly blessed and gifted in ways one can barely imagine. Such knowledge!

Good night Sue. Sleep well knowing scarey friends are taking care of Earth’s fields, hedgerows, parks, woods, gardens, and freshly seeded allotments. There’ll be no crows spoiling your vegetable beds by morning, we’ll leave only feathers bwhahahaha!

        Take care.

        Namaste 🙂
